Research

Prof. Zhai's research focuses on the design of carbon materials and their applications in energy storage devices such as alkali metal air batteries and ion batteries.

Prof. Zhai has published nearly 30 papers in Nature, J Am Chem. Soc, Nano Lett, Nano Energy, J Phys Chem Lett, ACS Energy Lett, ACS Appl Mater Inter, Carbon and other journals. Currently, he is responsible for one National Natural Science Foundation of China and two Shenzhen Basic Research Projects.
